Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 21 July 2026
This document explains, in reasonably plain terms, what happens to your personal data when you visit kolepe-yedeva.info or fill in our contact form. Kolepe Yedeva, operating from Strada Izvor 78, Bucharest, Romania, is the data controller referred to throughout this policy. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018 on measures implementing the GDPR.
1. What information we collect
When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number, subject selection, and message content you choose to submit. Because our form is built to open your own email client rather than transmit data directly to a server, in most cases this information travels through your device's mail application to our inbox at [email protected], and we only see it once you actually send that email.
Separately, our web server and any analytics tools enabled through your cookie preferences may log standard technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This is common practice for essentially any website and is used strictly for maintaining and understanding site performance.
2. Why we process this data
The legal basis for processing contact form data is your consent, given at the point of ticking the required privacy checkbox, combined with our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries about our educational material and pricing tiers. Technical logging data is processed under our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure, functional, and reasonably fast.
We do not use your contact information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose beyond responding to your inquiry and, where relevant, sending you information you've specifically requested about our access tiers.
3. Data retention
Messages received through our contact channel are typically retained for up to twenty-four months after the last exchange, primarily so we can refer back to prior conversations if you contact us again. After that period, we delete or anonymize the data unless a longer retention period is required by Romanian tax or accounting law in connection with a paid service.
4. International data transfers
Where we rely on third-party service providers (for example, email hosting or analytics tools enabled via cookie consent), we take reasonable steps to ensure any transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area is covered by an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as recognized under GDPR Chapter V.
5. Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion where applicable, restrict or object to certain processing, and request a portable copy of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We aim to respond to legitimate requests within the one-month period specified under GDPR Article 12.
6. Data security
We apply reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal data we handle, including restricted access to our inbox and standard hosting security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you submit to us.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
Details about the cookies used on this site, including categories and how to manage your preferences, are described fully in our separate Cookie Policy, accessible from the footer of every page.
8. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
